Unconventional superconductivity, magnetism and topological phenomenon are currently most attractive topics in condensed matter physics. In this talk, I’ll discuss several topological materials based on First-principles calculations. Depending on the strength of electronic correlation, DFT, DMFT and QMC are applied into weakly correlated nodal line semimetal, strongly correlated Kondo semimetal Ce3Bi4Pd3 and Kitaev-like material Na2IrO3. I’ll start from DFT calculation, and briefly introduce RPA, GW methods as well as their applications in materials. Then, I’ll focus on LDA+DMFT and LDA+QMC calculation in strongly correlated system.
